Your Most Asked Questions!  

Once purchased, MagicCon badges and Ticketed Play Events are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be reproduced, resold or upgraded. Please make your badge and ticketed play event selections carefully.  

Merchandise included with your badge purchase is available for on-site pick up only. If you do not pick up your merchandise at the event, you forfeit ownership of the merchandise. We are unable to ship badge package merchandise post-event, and you are not entitled to a refund. 

We strongly suggest you read the “How to Buy” guide for step-by-step instructions on how to purchase Ticketed Play Events. If you are still having trouble, please email us at [email protected] and we will be happy to help!  

About the Show

MagicCon: Amsterdam will be a full weekend dedicated to celebrating Magic: The Gathering! Featuring Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes, a variety of on-demand and ticketed play events, events and panels on the mainstage, immersive experiences, exclusive merch, fan-favorite Artists, Cosplayers, Magic celebrities and so much more!

MagicCon: Amsterdam is brought to you by two amazing teams: ReedPop and Wizards of the Coast! These two teams are delivering you the best Magic content from around the world and so much more!

MagiCon: Amsterdam will take place on July 17-19, 2026, at the RAI Amsterdam.

If you're hurt at MagicCon: Amsterdam, reach out to the MagicCon staff, crew, or nearby Security and we'll get you the help you need.

If a person engages in harassing behavior, MagicCon: Amsterdam Staff will take prompt action in any form they deem appropriate, including expulsion from MagicCon: Amsterdam with no refund. Our policy applies to everyone at the convention. Exhibitors, fans (attendees), speakers, guests, professionals, press, staff, volunteers, and security are all subject to our Code of Conduct Policy.

MagicCon: Amsterdam is committed to making sure that all of our fans have an amazing experience. ReedPop events provide Accessibility assistance to individuals who may have mobility, physical, vision, hearing, cognitive, psychological, invisible or other types of disabilities. Depending on what you need, our Accessibility Services Program may be for you.

Badges and Ticketed Merch

Badges for MagicCon: Amsterdam will go on sale March 19, 2026.

You may enter the “waiting room” starting at 6:00 AM PDT/ 2:00 PM CET. Some MagicCon badge types sell out very quickly, and we encourage you to enter the waiting room at least 10 – 15 minutes prior to 7:00 AM PDT / 3:00 PM CET. When the sale begins, fans will be selected at random from the waiting room for a badge purchase session. Once you are in the waiting room, do not navigate away from this page or you may be placed at the back of the queue. When selected for a purchase session, you have 10 minutes to begin your transaction.

Please Note: Adding a badge to your cart does not guarantee a purchase. Some badge types sell out very quickly, and all available inventory may be sold by the time you begin the checkout process, even if the item was in your cart.

We encourage you to read all of the information on our How to Buy page to ensure you are prepared.  

Yes! Our new Ticket Transfer option allows your guests to have access to their badge and purchase their own ticketed play events. See our Ticket Transfer guide for step-by-step directions

All attendees age 10 and up must purchase a badge to attend MagicCon: Amsterdam. Children age 9 and under may attend for free with a paid adult ticket. You may request a complimentary child credential when you arrive onsite at Registration/Badge Pick Up.  

Youth badges may be purchased by attendees age 10 - 15. All attendees 16 and older must purchase an adult badge to attend MagicCon: Amsterdam.   

Children age 9 and under are not eligible for the merchandise or benefits included with their parent and/or guardian’s badge package. Please note, all minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian. 

All badges will be picked up on-site. No badges will ship pre-show.

Badges will not be shipping for MagicCon: Amsterdam.

All attendees must pick up their MagicCon: Amsterdam badges on-site at RAI Amsterdam. Attendees will receive their ticketed merch when they pick up their badge. To pick up any pre-order/add-on merchandise, simply visit the official show store and bring your purchase confirmation email and a valid photo ID. Merchandise will not be mailed out in advance nor after the event.

Ticketed Play

Ticketed Play events will go on sale at a later date. Please read the How to Buy page for step-by-step instructions once they are live.

The Command Zone is accessible to all MagicCon: Amsterdam badged attendees. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.  

Ticketed Play Events require pre-registration at least one hour prior to the event. Don’t forget to pre-register, as all events have limited inventory. Read our How to Buy Page for step-by-step directions on registering for events. 

On Demand Events are purchased onsite at Ticketed Play HQ. Pre-registration is not required.

Check back regularly on the Ticketed Play dashboard to see if there are any openings. If you have any questions on site, visit the Ticketed Play HQ. If there are still no openings, there may be similar On Demand Events you can join at any time! 

Yes! Now you can either transfer the badge to your friends or children who have a valid email by following the transfer process outlined here.

OR 

You can purchase ticketed play events on their behalf by using the drop-down while purchasing to change the badge name.   

Once you have registered for an event, you will see the companion code at the end of the Ticketed Play event name.

  1. In the Companion App under the Play Tab, you can enter this event code.
  2. The title of the event will have the color-coded location of the play area.  Head to the corresponding color tables!
  3. When the event begins, your seat assignment will be displayed on your Companion App. Take your seat and the event staff will take it from there.

If you still have questions on where to go, head to the Ticketed Play HQ for assistance. 

Once purchased, MagicCon: Amsterdam badges and Ticketed Play Events are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be reproduced, resold or upgraded. 

However, you can still pick up any event product at Ticketed Play HQ.  

Each event is different! Head to Ticketed Play HQ and speak to the staff at the stage running your event for assistance. 

In general, we don’t recommend registering for multiple events. Unless the event is a league event, you will need to drop from one event early to go to another. If you REALLY want to, you can remove it from your schedule after the event is purchased. As long as you have purchased the event, you will not be refunded and still have the seat at the event. This will free up your schedule to purchase an overlapping event. 

Keep in mind, if you drop from an event or miss an overlapping event, you will not be granted a refund. 

Yes! Go to Ticketed Play HQ Information to get your event product. All product must be collected during the show.

No! Only one ticket has to be bought for the whole team, and only one person enters the code in the companion app, regardless of whether it is a 2HG or a Team Trio.

We’re sorry, but please leave your furry companions at home. MagicCon: Amsterdam will allow service animals only.

No, an adult must accompany (within 10 to 15 feet) any minor under the age of 16 during the show. 

If you find yourself in a situation in which you are lost or separated, please search for the nearest MagicCon Staff member, Info Booth or Security Officer, and they can help you. 

We are unable to use the PA system for fans or exhibitors. We recommend you arrange a time and place to meet beforehand.

The safety and security of our fans, exhibitors and staff is our priority. We work closely with the venue, corporate security, state, local, and federal law enforcement authorities to identify risks, assess them and develop security plans for our events.

Everyone attending MagicCon should be aware that the following are in place:

  • Security may approach you to assist outside, at entry or inside MagicCon
  • Everyone must wear their MagicCon badge at all times. This includes exhibitors, vendors, fans (attendees), speakers, guests, artists, professionals, press, staff, and crew.
  • Bag checks are in operation at our events
  • Walkthrough or handheld scanners may be in operation at our events
  • CCTVs in operation at our events are monitored and recorded
  • Uniformed and covert security guards and police are in attendance at our event
  • Canine security and detection is in operation at some of our events

Everyone attending MagicCon is requested to:

  • Keep personal property with you at all times and don't leave any items unattended
  • Report anything that looks unusual, suspicious, or just out of place to MagicCon staff, security or crew
  • Remain patient and courteous with MagicCon staff and security undertaking security checks. We have your best interests at heart and want to get you inside the building as quickly as possible
  • Follow the instructions of MagicCon staff at all times
  • On the final day you're attending MagicCon, keep your badge as a souvenir or dispose of it inside the venue or when you've returned home. Don't sell it to scalpers who may be outside on the streets. Don't throw it away in trash cans outside the venue. Scalpers are sneaky and may attempt to upsell it to an unsuspecting fan who doesn't have a badge
  • Carry a recognized form of photo ID at all times. This includes passports, driver's licenses and government issued IDs.

The Baby Care Lounge is equipped with three comfortable chairs, a baby changing bench with two cushions, a playpen, a refrigerator and a sink with hot and cold water. Access to the Baby Care Lounge is controlled by a key system and the room can be locked from the inside by means of a cylinder lock. The key is available from Reception D on the ground floor of the Elicium by Entrance D and must be returned after use.
