Accessibility Services
Accessibility Services
MagicCon: Amsterdam is an accessible event, and we are dedicated to continually improving our efforts to ensure you have access to all the event amenities. We welcome and encourage all feedback and suggestions from our patrons. The following explains the services provided this year. Please read this informational guide thoroughly before sending an inquiry email. For any accessibility-related questions not answered in the guide, please email us at [email protected]. We will do our best to assist you and address your accessibility needs.
Wheelchair Accessibility
We believe it is important that RAI Amsterdam is accessible to everyone. For that reason RAI Amsterdam has special facilities to receive visitors with reduced mobility or disabilities as easy as possible.
RAI Amsterdam is accessible for guests using a wheelchair. The aisles at the show floor are spacious and the surface is flat. Elevators and disability toilets are available.
Borrow a wheelchair
It is possible to borrow a wheelchair. A reservation is needed and can be made by sending an email to [email protected] and provide us with the following information:
- Name
- Phone number
- Pick up date
- Event / trade name
Your reservation is complete after the confirmation e-mail. A deposit of € 50.00 cash and a valid ID is mandatory.
The person using the wheelchair will need to show a valid disability card and will need to pay for his/her own ticket.
Accessibility Parking
If you have an official European parking card for the disabled (GPK), you can use special parking spaces, which are located close to the exit of the building.
Visitors with an official ‘disability card’ (GPK) can report to the lodge employees of the P7 parking garage for quick and easy access to a good parking space. This can be reached by following the route P RAI 7, from there we refer to the best parking space. Even with a disability card (GPK), parking at RAI Amsterdam costs € 5.50 per hour (maximum of € 32.00 per day or buying a day ticket online for € 26.00 ).
Accessibility Services Hub
Please Note: You must stop here to get your Accessibility sticker credential. There is no Accessibility pre-registration before the event - this is all done onsite at the event.
There will be an Accessibility Services Hub at registration/badge pick up. The exact location of this hub will be labeled on the event map when it is released. At this location, you can:
- Get your Accessibility sticker credential
- Get your Accessibility questions answered
- Learn about our accessibility services
Sticker Policies
- Accessibility stickers are good for the whole weekend
- DO NOT remove your sticker for the entire duration of the event
- One companion sticker will be issued for each disabled patron (exceptions will be made for families with young children)
